How to Find Us
Arriving to Wexford by bus or train
Faythe Guesthouse is walking distance from Wexford train station. This is where Bus Éireann buses arrive and depart from.
You can walk the length of the quay towards the Faythe area if you want to take in the views, or start your journey along the main street if you want to visit some boutiques along the way.
Otherwise it is a short taxi spin to or from the station – there are plenty of taxis outside the station to meet arrivals by bus and train.
If you’re arriving on Wexford Bus, this stops at Redmond Square, just beside Wexford station.
Both Bus Éireann and Wexford Bus travel to and from Dublin Airport.
Wexford General Hospital
Faythe Guesthouse is an ideal place to stay for outpatients of Wexford General Hospital or for those visiting friends or relatives in the hospital.
The Wexford Town Service from Wexford Bus stops outside the front door of the Faythe Guesthouse enroute to Wexford General Hospital.
Asking for directions
The Faythe area in Wexford town takes its name from the green opposite the Faythe Guesthouse. The name Faythe derives from the Irish word faiche, meaning fair green.
You know you’re talking to a local if you hear Faythe pronounced something like ‘fiiight’.

Driving from Dublin/N11
If you’re taking the N11 from Dublin, follow the signs for Rosslare on approach to Wexford. Take a left at the Duncannon Roundabout (at the Whitford Hotel) and follow the road until you reach Tesco (on your right). Turn right onto Mill Road, keep left and follow the twist in the road. Reaching the green area, the Faythe Guesthouse is in front of you: it’s a white building with black markings.
Driving from Rosslare Port
Follow the road signs for Wexford town. Continue through Rosslare Road Roundabout past an industrial area. On reaching the built-up area, look out for a pedestrian crossing and traffic lights. Take the left here, (at the Londis shop) and drive down the Faythe until you can see the Faythe Guesthouse signage in large black lettering on the right-hand side.
